Overview:

Introduction to the world of AI, Physical Computing and IoT

With the advent of STEM (Science, Technology,Engineering and Mathematics, or applied mathematics) in Education and the overall consensus about the future it brings, we believe there is no better way to equip the children of today than getting them involved in short duration courses with hands on activities in which they create something of use and learn the science behind it at the same time.

We are offering an after school activity like no other. The Raspberry Pi  is a credit card sized computer and will be the heart of each of the activities we offer. You  will be introduced  to the many new concepts such as Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Physical Computing.

Instructor Profile: 25+ years in the IT Industry / Raspberry Pi Educator – Future Learn Certified & AIY hobbyist.

Participant Profile: Grades 5 and above with a basic understanding of using a computer, the internet and a willingness to learn.

Class Size: Maximum of 7 students.

Course Duration:  5 days (Mon to Fri  – conducted during the school holidays.)

Course  Take Away:

This course will give you a basic understanding of a Raspberry Pi which is a credit card sized computer and each student will take home a full configured Google AIY voice Kit that they can then use to  expand  their knowledge further.
